How To
Receive a
Massage
Massage
may not be part of your contemporary cultural experience. You
may feel uneasy or shy about receiving your first massage.
Below you will find a list of guidelines that should put you at ease
and assist you in receiving the maximum benefit from your massage
session. After receiving your first, we are quite confident
that you'll have no such hesitations in the future.

Communicate to your therapist if areas of your body are
sore, tense, or injured.

Inform
your therapist of any favorite areas or areas you would like more
attention given to.

Inform
your therapist of any areas you would prefer not to have
massaged.

Mention any medical conditions such as high blood pressure,
heart problems, varicose veins or recent
surgeries.

You
can expect that your modesty and comfort level will be respected
at all times.

You
will be fully and appropriate draped during your
massage.

Communicate to your therapist discomfort of any kind
whether from the body, room temperature, or
music.
